Mentor Muskegon High School

Mentor Muskegon High School helps high school juniors prepare for and enroll in college or other post secondary education by establishing a two-year relationship between students and mentors from the community.  Each mentor’s relationship with the student helps the student focus on their academic progress and aids them in taking the necessary steps to prepare for education beyond high school.

Students Taking a Renewed Interest in the Value of Education …is a partnership between the Rotary Club of Muskegon and Mentor Muskegon High School that matches qualified, committed, educated Mentors with promising high school students. STRIVE incorporates achievement, empowerment and life skills to produce a Student who is prepared to succeed after high school.  The focus of this partnership is to first develop relationship between the Mentor and the Student, which will then lead to academic improvement.
